Welcome
We’d like everyone to become part of the Jury and share your views on what you think, saw, heard, tasted and experienced at your last visit to a jazz club or festival.
Our aim is to list almost every club and jazz festival in the world, and we’ll need your help to let us know where you’ve been, so we can get it listed. You can write reviews, rate the venues and send in your pics to make sure others can go and listen to some cool cats.
Over the coming months we’ll be adding many more sections to the site. Showcasing clubs and festivals is only the tip of that big chunk of ice. We’ll be reviewing the latest jazz out there in Charting Jazz, profiling musicians old and new in Jazz Spotlight, those to look out for in Under the Radar, cherry picking select film footage for our Jazz Flicks section, giving you the lowdown if you’re new to the genre in Jazz Files, and a repository of online resources that’ll make you want to hit the bookmark button.
We threw the gavel at this one and hope you enjoy what we have to say, what others are talking about and who knows, you might even be our first winner in an exclusive competition we’ll be running soon…more on that later.
