Opened only in 2004, Una Mas has very quickly become one of top places to catch the talent in Tokyo. This is partly because it’s owner Sawaguchi san used to be a sound recording engineer and the club has been carefully built to create the best acoustics money can buy. The walls and the ceiling have special acoustic tiles, all instruments are positioned and microphoned with care. It’s no wonder that many groups perform at the venue to get the best possible live recordings.
The club features small bands and trios, chanson on Mondays and Wednesdays. Bossa Nova and World Music performed regularly.
