International Jazz Day
Jazz has been providing a platform and forums for freedom of expression since its birth. It’s language has spanned the globe throughout the twentieth century, touched and influenced many if not all forms of music and is now evolving again as it always has. To celebrate this, International Jazz Day will bring together communities, schools, artists, historians, academics, and jazz enthusiasts all over the world to celebrate and learn about the art of jazz, its roots, its future and its impact.
The ambassador of this epic project, Herbie Hancock, has given the world something it will never live without. Stimulated jazz appreciation.
